The Engagement session
This spring Julianna, Weston and I met up finally for their engagement session at the Indianapolis Canal walk. It was 70% chance rain. We had rescheduled the engagement session a couple times before due to rain. SO rain or SHINE we were shooting this day! I am so glad we did it was perfect the storm clouds defused the sun perfectly. You can see their engagement blog * HERE*.
The Wedding
I do not know about you but this year is flying by! I met Julianna at the Midwest Bridal show this past winter. I distinctly remember chatting with her about her special day and thinking *gosh* I hope she calls me. 🙂 I am so glad she did! Getting to know her and Weston and the boys through this wedding process has been a blessing.
Julianna and Weston’s special day was at The Legacy Barn outside of Kokomo. It was the perfect setting for their special day. Morgan Myers – (( MoMichelle Makeup Artistry)) was Julianna’s makeup artist for her special day. I have worked with Morgan many times and always enjoy watching her do what she does! She did a spectacular job!! I also absolutely loved Julianna’s flowers her amazing momma did ALL the flowers for this day and so much more. She is such a blessing.
Julianna decided on doing a first look on her special day with both her Dad and Weston. I am so glad she did! We got ALL the photos out of the way right off the bat and then she was able to fully enjoy her wedding and reception (plus we had tons of time for photos). This was all possible bc Crista Tharp of Blissfully Simple Events did a fantastic job developing a timeline for the day and then keeping everyone on track throughout the day!
The Ceremony
Julianna and Weston’s ceremony was perfect Pastor Steve Cole did a wonderful job with the service and on the fly when we realized the unity sand was forgotten at home. He came up with a wonderful prelude for the boys to hear to tie them into the service. After that Julianna wrote a sweet letter to the boys I was fighting back tears as she read it.
The Reception
The Dj for the night X-sight music was so great he kept the floor full and the reception running smoothly and ON TIME. A lot of people do not realize that a good dj is soooo important because they keep the party going! Julianna’s cake was made by a family friend and it was absolutely stunning and not to mention so delicious!
Enjoy the images from Julianna and Weston’s amazing day.
Julianna’s gown was a gorgeous blush lace gown it was beyond stunning and so her.
We had a few “after photos” with special family and friends.
We snuck out at sunset to get some photos I am always glad we do this… The light is so different than earlier and sets the mood. <3
Then a faux sparkler exit before we lost the daylight was the cherry on top!
THANK YOU Julianna and Weston for allowing me to be apart of your special day! It was amazing from start to finished! I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon. <3
