The Engagement Session
Late spring I had the honor of meeting a photographing Noah and Sara’s engagement session. We walked and shot around some of my favorite spots in my home town. We started in town then worked our way to a more country side scenery. You can check out their session HERE.
The Wedding
Sara & Noah’s wedding was so so magical and it was so them. It was in the evening at 6pm they were married at Sara’s parents home in Lafayette Indiana. Sara’s Mom, Dixie did a wonderful job decorating the patio for this very special event and reception hall. The patio was adorned with candles, moss and beautiful lanterns. Kaila Golmitz (hair artist from Genevee’s Studio) and Beca Wagers,(makeup Artist) did Sara’s wedding day look and she was absolutely stunning. Sara’s flowers were made by Honey Bee Flower Farm this wedding was one of her first big weddings and she rocked it. I would recommend Honey Bee Flower Farm to anyone!! The look on Sara’s face when she first saw them was priceless.. Sara and Noah decided on doing a first look and I am so glad we did. I was able to get almost ALL the photos finished before the ceremony. The officiant was an old friend of the bride and grooms from college it was a extra special touch to a perfect day.
The Reception
The reception was at Carnahan hall following the ceremony. I absolutely loved how the site was decorated in such rich colors and accents of gold. Again Dixie ( The brides Mother) out did her self with such lovely decorations everything was flawless. Sara & Noah’s cake was beautiful it was made by Dream Designs-Penny Roberts and not to mention so so delicious. The Dj – Velocity kept the reception moving so swiftly and the dance floor was packed all night. I loved how Sara & Noah honored Sara’s Grandmother and Grandfather at their reception 09/09/1962 is their wedding anniversary so the dj had a song and they had their own special dance. Funny thing is they did not plan to be married on Grandma and Grandpa’s 55th wedding anniversary Sara and Noah believes it was fate! Now their special day is shared with two people who are so very special to them.
