THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Last fall I met up with Ja’shon and Larissa at one of my favorite places ever. NO not Disney (however that would of been so cool.) at Dulls Tree Farm in Thorntown for their engagement session it was a perfect day check out their engagement blog here.
THE WEDDING
First of all I loved everything and I mean everything about this wedding. It was at a Christmas tree farm. And if you KNOW me even a little you know Christmas is my jam! Absolute favorite day of the year. Cosgray Christmas tree farm was the perfect location for Larissa and Ja’Shon’s special day. Then secondly let’s talk about the weather! It was a brisk October day. It may have been cold out side but the wedding was warm with love and laughter. I loved Larissa’s rich color palette and the barn adorned with gorgeous flowers and twinkle lights. Larissa and Ja’Shon did a first look which was so nice. We were able to get ALL the portraits done before the ceremony so after they could enjoy the party. But we DID sneak out for 10 minutes at sunset bc well that is my absolute favorite time to shoot.
THE RECEPTION
The reception was also at the Christmas tree barn. The food at the reception was delicious. Ken McDillon did an amazing job on the dinner. Larissa’s cupcakes and cakes were baked by Ken McDillon and they looked amazing and tasted phenomenal. I loved Larissa and Ja’shon’s surprise first dance. It started out with a slowing and then the music cut in to “Black or White by Michael Jackson. It was THE PERFECT WAY to kick of the evening festivities. The DJ Connection had the reception moving smoothly and the dance floor hopping all night.
