This winter has come and gone so fast! I am now playing ‘catch-up’ on my fall engagement blogs. I have know Kelsey for quite some time and I always enjoy my time with her family for their family sessions. SO when I was asked to photograph her special day I of course was thrilled!
How They Met
Kelsey met Brett through Facebook in 2014. He messaged her And she wasn’t going to reply back because she was scared but she did! It was love at first sight!
How He Proposed
January 2017 Kelsey came home from Disney and Brett was very eager for her to come see him since she had been gone all week on vacation. There was note on the door when she got there. She opened the door there were candles lit and another note. It told her where she needed to go and sit and to have my eyes closed when she opened her eyes he was kneeling down in front of her asking if she would marry him!!
I met Kelsey and Brett at one of my favorite spring and fall locations Wea creek Orchard in Lafayette. The trees were all green and the apples where almost ready for harvest! I loved walking around the grounds and learning their story!
I am so excited for their special day this August!
