The Ceremony

John and Alex opted for a first look and it was one of the best ones I have photographed yet. The emotions were raw and real everything I love about a first look. Just the lovely couple and our cameras documenting every moment. While we shot before portraits in the first level of  The Mill Top  Musician Matt Soverns blessed us with his amazing piano skills he playing everything from Christmas music to Harry Potter themed music. The ceremony was on the 2nd floor at The Mill Top Banquet and Conference Center. This room adorn with white twinkle lights, beautiful white chandeliers exposed brick and timber which made for the perfect place Alex and John’s BIG day! This stunning building is a piece of history dating back 150 years!Alex’s Flowers were perfect. I have shot many many many flowers that Heather’s flowers has made. This one takes the cake for being the most magical. She never disappoints.

The Reception

The Reception was on the 3rd floor in the MOST beautiful space ever! Again, twinkle lights, exposed brick white chandeliers and beams made this large space so warm and inviting. Mill Top Staff did an amazing job helping keep the timeline ON time! They were all so helpful too I had a great time working with them. Alex and John’s cake was extra special it was made by Alex’s Matron of honor and best friend Tenley. I really was in awe by it, it tied together the WHOLE Harry Potter theme. The  DJ – djsoundsolution kept the dance floor popping ALL NIGHT he was also awesome to work with!!
