It has been a hot minute since I blogged anything and I’m feeling inspired. This Wedding left me so inspired so I am blogging about Grant and Trent’s special day. This day couldn’t have gone more perfect.
The venue Whippoorwill Hill in Bloomington was the perfect location for Grant and Trent to start their forever. Not to mention for weeks the forecast showed rain the day. The day before the forecast showed no rain. Robin Chalmers kept the day running so smoothly.
Reverend Karla gave the most beautiful ceremony. It was simple and sweet as it was lovely. Not a dry eye in the crowd while Grant and Trent read their vows to one another.
After the ceremony Grant, Trent and I snuck away in the trolley to downtown Bloomington. There we grabbed some pictures and soaked in some moments with just the two of them. While we were gone, Grant and Trent commissioned a Caricature artist where you could go and have your picture drawn. It was so much fun to see all the cool photos made. Once we got back to Whippoorwill Hill, the reception kicked off with their first dance. It was a fun way to start the reception. They danced to their favorite song electric by Dua Lipa. Dinner consisted of delicious pizzas/salad/breadsticks from Nick‘s English Hut in downtown Bloomington. The cake and cupcakes were made by Grant’s super talented sister, Cate, and they were amazing.
After dinner, it was time to party. At 7:45pm and 8:45pm we had a special performances by Kitt St. Clair, a well-known drag queen from Indiana. Dj Monica kept the dance floor hopping all evening.

The tables were adorned with spring flowers from Heather’s flowers in Frankfort and beautiful lavender ribbon/ accents.
I loved that they had game tables and Mario cart for the guests to play throughout the evening.
We did all the photos before the ceremony besides the images taken in downtown Bloomington. I loved this bc it made the wedding day move smoothly.
After the Ceremony we were off to Bloomington for downtown/ campus photos.
I loved the time we had taking photos on Campus.
The cake/ cupcakes were delicious Cate did an outstanding job.
After a quick wardrobe change it was time to party.
Kitt St. Claire is immensely talented I loved watching her do her thing!
After all the guests left my Grooms’ shared a final dance and it was a beautiful moment to end a perfect day.
Thank you Grant and Trent for allowing me to be apart of your special day. It really couldn’t of been more perfect. I am so excited to see how the next chapters unfold for your beautiful family.
