The Engagement Session

I drove up this spring to Brianna’s mothers home just south of Winamac Indiana. That was the perfect location for their engagement session. You can check out our session right here.

The Wedding

First of all I loved everything and I mean everything about this wedding. It was at a Christmas tree farm. And if you KNOW me even a little you know Christmas is my jam! Absolute favorite day of the year. Cosgray Christmas tree farm was the perfect location for Brianna and Alan’s special day.  Then secondly let’s talk about the weather! In August in Indiana it’s usually muggy and so so hot! For Brianna and Alan’s wedding day it was a HIGH of 76! Yes, you read that right 7-6! It was a beautiful day for a wedding. I loved Brianna’s rustic decor that adorned the Christmas tree barn. Then there was an arbor… seriously this arbor was something so beautiful and it was the focal point of the decor. It had beautiful hydrangea’s weaved with an assortment or flowers and greenery. So so pretty. Martins did a spectacular job.

Alan and Brianna did a first look which was so nice. We were able to get ALL the portraits done before the ceremony so after they could enjoy the party. But we DID sneak out for 12 minutes at sunset bc well that is my absolute favorite time to shoot.

The ceremony was extra special because Brianna’s Grandpa was the officiant for his granddaughters special day. This is a moment I am sure neither of them will ever forget. <3

The Reception

The reception was also in the Christmas tree barn. After the ceremony they did a quick moving of tables and it was set for a party. The food at the reception was delicious. Moss creek did an amazing job on the dinner.  Brianna’s cake was baked by Jill Malcow Simply sweet  . It was Beautifully simple and fit this rustic wedding theme perfectly.Then the dancing was so much fun! The DJ Brian with DJ Indiana kept the reception moving smoothly and the dance floor hopping all night.
