Hollis + Santiago | A July Wedding Celebration at Arborwood
July 3rd was a day full of sunshine, joy, and pure celebration as Hollis and Santiago gathered with their favorite people at the beautiful Arborwood in Frankfort, Indiana. While the couple officially tied the knot back in December, this summer day was their chance to celebrate their love big—and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
The entire event took place outdoors under the warm Indiana sun, surrounded by lush greenery and florals that were nothing short of breathtaking. Brittany Mennen of The Floral Barn by SHOUPS curated the most timeless wedding look—soft, romantic, and effortlessly elegant. Every bloom was placed with intention, creating a setting that felt both classic and personal. Arborwood not only provided the gorgeous venue, but also the stunning cake and delicious dinner that followed.
Behind the scenes, the amazing Kim Black, Arborwood’s in-house wedding coordinator, kept the entire day running smoothly. She was organized, calm, and prepared for anything and everything—a true professional and an essential part of making the day so stress-free and joyful.
Before the ceremony, Hollis shared two incredibly special moments. First, she tried on her mother’s wedding gown, sharing an emotional and quiet moment with her mom. It was a beautiful tribute to the legacy of love in their family. She also shared a touching first look with her dad—a moment full of pride, love, and just a few happy tears. Of course, Hollis and Santiago had their own emotional first look, giving them space to connect and take in the day together.
Later that evening, we snuck away at golden hour for portraits—and wow, the light couldn’t have been more perfect. Warm, golden, and full of magic—it was a photographer’s dream and a perfect way to capture their love. The entire celebration was filled with laughter, dancing, heartfelt toasts, and the kind of joy that can only come from being surrounded by people who love you deeply.
