Shelby & Miles| A Dappled Willow Wedding| Darlington, Indiana | June 18th 2022

THE WEDDING

First of all I loved everything and I mean everything about this wedding. It was at the beautiful Dappled Willow wedding venue. Dappled Willow was the perfect location for Shelby & Miles to start their life together. The weather was absolutely perfect for their outdoor summer wedding. I loved Shelby’s rich color palette and the center pieces were adorned with gorgeous flowers from 21 petals and beautiful antique table settings.  Shelby and Miles did a first look which was so nice. We were able to get most of the portraits done before the ceremony so after they could enjoy the party. But we DID sneak out for 10 minutes at sunset bc well that is my absolute favorite time to shoot.

THE RECEPTION

The reception was in the barn it was so beautiful I loved that it had a second balcony level for dinner seating. (It also was s fun spot to grab photos from.) The food at the reception was delicious. Custom Select Catering did an amazing job on the dinner.  Shelby’s cakes were baked by the amazing Mammaw’s Sweet Shoppe they looked amazing and tasted phenomenal. I loved what Shelby & Miles did during their parent dances. The first minute was just with their parents then they asked the guests to bring their Mom or dad on the dance floor to dance. It was such a nice thing to do and share the sweet Father/Daughter and Mother/ Son dance moments with the ones they love. The dance floor was so busy the rest of the evening thanks to my friends Dj Mike & Phil with Efusion Entertainment.

Shelby also did a first look with her Dad and it was just the sweetest moment ever. <3

Instead of throwing her bouquet Shelby handed each single woman a rose. She told each one how much they mean to her and to wait for the perfect man for them. Never settle. It was a sweet and special moment to witness.
