The Engagement session
I met Ryan and Kayleigh in the spring of 2015 and a session for Ryan’s mom for mothers day. Since then I shot MANY amazing events for their family so when they asked me to document their special day I was *floored*. We did their engagement session about a year ago at some of my favorite spots in our home town. Here is a couple of my favorites.
The Wedding Day
Ryan and Kayleigh’s special day was located at the BEAUTIFUL Hidden Hallow Farm. Hidden hallow farm is tucked away in the woods in the outskirts of Crawfordsville Indiana. It is a dream location and perfect for my bride and her groom. We couldn’t of asked for better weather! A high of 75 made for a prefect out door ceremony and dance floor. Ryan and Kayleigh did not do a first look so we got all the photos with them not together out of the way before the ceremony. So we had less photo time after their ceremony. The woods at Hidden Hallow were just starting to change colors which made the PERFECT back drop for their special day. I also *loved* the rich color choices Kayleigh and Ryan chose for their wedding colors. After a spring and summer of mostly pastels it was refreshing for a change rich red gown adorned the beautiful bridal party and the flowers were stunning and of course made by THE BEST FLORIST EVER Heather’s Flowers in Frankfort. The cakes was also amazing it was made by a family friend Kelly Hiatt.
The reception was a blast the dj (LARGE sound DJ LLC) kept the great tunes playing and dance floor has some great dancers. Momma walker said something to me on the wedding day that just warmed my heart. For their family I have shot a family session, proposal, engagement session, and now two weddings she told me she was so happy to have me there and she KNOWS the photos will be good. Harvesting these life long relationship with my clients and their family is what it is all about for me. <3
